Fishing Report July 21, 2023 Ucluelet BC - Vancouver Island

Well its time to report on whats going down in the seawater off Ucluelet. How do you think like a fish?

We don't get into that here but we will let you know what came into the boat lol.

Chinook fishing picked up a bit though the spots have been changing as well. Long Beach bank has been pretty consistent the past week. Out front of Fraser Rock has been pretty consistent especially on later morning and afternoon bites.

There are lots of halibut just about everywhere it seems. This is somewhat normal for July but I would say halibut fishing has been better and more consistent than in the past few years during July.

The halibut fishing has been extremely fast at Big Bank as well and there are a good amount of Chinook at the Rats nose.

Coho are being caught regularly around Fraser Rock.
