In the action for 2024 Summer

During the summer we get busy with preparing for fishing each day, tying up gear, checking out what others are using, and doing maintenance. We often are up at 4:00 am and in bed by 8:30 pm.

As guides we don''t just do it for the money. We do it because love fishing. And we love showing people the excitement of getting a fish on.

Even for those who fish every summer, its great to see a little bit of what we see on a daily basis.

Below are some photos of our guides in the action.

Above is Kyle Kaminsksky in our latest 31' Salmon Seeker which can take up to 8 people.

Kyle has been guiding from Ucluelet for the past 10 years and consistently gets a boat full of salmon and halibut.

Dan is our longest serving guide and has been fishing Ucluelet for over 35 years.

He guides from the 29' Cloudbreak shown to the right. Here he has the net up getting ready for a fish to come in the boat.

Dan loves catching larger salmon and halbiut close to shore. He has a reputation of being the patient guide who gets the largest average fish on any guides in Ucluelet.

Keith has been fishing in Ucluelet all his life and runs the 29' "Spring Bight".

Keith absolutely loves the water and is always the first one at the dock in the morning, often at 4:30 am.

Keith has guided the most Tyees the past 5 years.

Tyler started guiding with us in 2022 from the 29' "Silver Fox".

He really loves the west coast fishing and is known for sharing his love through  entertaining you with many stories.

Tyler is passionate about salmon enhancement and is involved in raising money through raffles and draws to make sure out fishery continues.

Kody pictured here on "Apollo2", started with us last year after our guide Brad Brown's unfortuate passing.

Kody stepped in and did a great job with many great guest reviews.

Kody's dad spent a good part of his life commercial fishing and these stories helped shape his desire to be in a boat.

Below is a sport water shots of owner Sam guiding on the 29' Baha (Salmon Eye 1). This was an incredible day on Barkley Sound as you will see the mountains in the background.
