Chinook salmon fishing

fishing has been good at Long Beach and is just starting to come on at Wya Point. Big Bank is also having some good bites.

For much of July and early August we were getting good fishing around Myra Rock especially on tide changes and often in the afternoons. For some reason it seems to be a trend that Chinook salmon fishing is great in the afternoons.

If you are coming for 3 day trip I would still suggest leaving earler to get your other fish. The photo to the left was taken August 6 during an afternoon trip.

Coho salmon fishing

has been good mostly at Big Bank but there is some good fishing in close to shore as well.

Halibut fishing

has been good in many spots including Long Beach, Outside Light, Outside South and Big Bank.
