Fishing Charters for Qualicum, B.C., and Parksville, B.C., on Vancouver Island.

Qualicum and Parksville are only about 5 min. apart on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, and are only 30 minutes north of Nanaimo, the central Island's main city. There are many attractions here such as Cathedral Grove, Horne Lake Caves, and Golf. But of course, fishing tops the list!

In June, a big run of fat Columbia salmon head home and pass the Qualicum area. The last few years, fishing has been best around Hornby Island starting in June and lasting until August. From June to September, King salmon head though this area on their way to various rivers. The Qualicum Rivers host a good run of King salmon from August 15 to the end of September that can give some spectactular fishing! The pictures below are a sample of what you would experience.

Qualicum and Parksville do not receive the weather of the West Coast. Usually, the summer weather is sunny and the ocean is calm.

Sam! All is well here and we're right in the middle of our guiding season. The hunting is going well and the clients are happy. I wanted to thank you and Ray once again for an awsome fishing trip and for getting me the big one.
